Tell you how to replace golf cart bushings

Tell you how to replace golf cart bushings

1. Start by removing your golf cart’s wheels and tires. You may need to use a wrench or other tool to loosen the lug nuts. Set the wheels and tires aside.

2. To remove the old bushing, you’ll need to find the retaining clips on either side of the bushing. These are usually located on the top and bottom of the bushing. Use a pair of pliers to carefully remove the clips.

3. The old bushing should now be free to remove. Pull it out of the hole, discarding it.

4. Clean out the hole with a rag or brush. Make sure all dirt, dust, and debris are removed so the new bushing will fit properly.

5. Grease the new bushing with a silicone-based lubricant. This will help the bushing last longer and move more smoothly.

6. Place the new bushing into the hole, and make sure it is flush with the surrounding metal.

7. Replace the retaining clips, using the pliers to secure them in place.

8. Reattach the wheels and tires. Make sure the lug nuts are secure, and that the wheels are balanced.

9. Take your golf cart for a test drive to make sure the new bushing is functioning properly. If you hear any creaks or feel any vibrations, check the bushing again.
