1. Disconnect the battery cables from the golf cart’s battery. This will prevent any electrical shocks or other accidents while replacing the ignition switch.
2. Remove the top cover of the golf cart. This will allow access to the ignition switch.
3. Disconnect the wires from the golf cart’s ignition switch. The wires will be connected to the terminals on the back of the switch.
